From Acorn to Canopy
When you’re building something great, surrounding yourself with the right team of people is paramount. We are a team of creatives that have 1 common goal…to create great stories that tell a truth, that are memorable, and that make people feel.
We may be a little nuts, but one seed is all it takes to start a forest.
The People Here

Sam Philyaw
Creative Director - Executive Producer
Sam is a Jack-of all-trades and a bit of a visionary, marching to the beat of her own drum since a child. Her life motto is “anything is possible”.
Having experienced multiple professions before the age of 30, she brings a well-rounded perspective and love of learning to her role at IAP. From competitive rifle and archery for over a decade, to culinary art, to personal fitness training and more – Sam is now the owner of IAP but also a voice actor, writer, casting/voice/creative director, and producer. Her creative journey started with voice acting in 2016 and she has never looked back.
Creating impactful stories and characters that suck you in, building worlds you can escape into, and crafting experiences that will leave you wanting more…This is the drive behind all of Sams’ work.
Alongside her work at IAP, Sam is also on the executive board for the 48 Hour Audio Drama Festival and Exec. Producer at Parker-Ross Productions. She also does some coaching in voice acting. In her spare time, Sam is usually reading, crochet or knitting, or hiking.
Changing the world, one story at a time.

Rob Harrower
Executive Producer - Senior Audio Wizard
Rob has been called a “Jack-of-all-trades” as well as a “Renaissance man” due to his boundless curiosity and diverse interests. A Canadian voice actor and audio engineer, Rob believes that even the smallest acorns hold the potential for the grandest adventures.
Currently, he serves as an Executive Producer and Sound Design Lead at Iridescent Acorn Productions. His creative reach extends across the industry as an Executive Producer at Two Sober Dwarves Productions, Audio Director for Parker-Ross Productions, and Audio Engineer for Arcane Fiction. He also helps steer the audio-drama world as an admin for the 48 Hour Audio Drama Festival.
Rob’s creative journey began on the stage in his 20s, with highlights including The Full Monty and, most recently, a staged reading of Dracula: A Radio Play Mini-Series. He officially transitioned into the world of voice-over in 2020 and has been moving full steam ahead ever since.
When he isn’t behind the mic or crafting sound design magic, you can usually find him at the gaming table. For over 30 years, Rob has been an avid board gamer and a seasoned tabletop RPG player who tends to spend a suspicious amount of time losing his sanity to the Great Old Ones in his favorite system, Call of Cthulhu.
Above all, Rob is the proud father of two wonderful daughters. They are his ultimate “North Stars,” constantly reminding him that the world is full of magic if you only slow down enough to listen for it.
